Hidden Beaches & Quiet Beaches in Barbados

The Fun Barbados Beach guide has put together some of the best sheltered and tucked away beaches on the island, most of them small quiet secluded Bays, others isolated and sprawling.

Although some of these beaches aren't great for swimming, they all are ideal for sun tanning, romantic walks and breathtaking photos.

Batts Rock Beach - West Coast - St. Michael / St. James
Calm clear waters with some beach activity, but great for picnics and some surfing.

Beachy Head Bay: Southeast Coast - St. Philip
Medium to large waves, lots of undertow and strong currents.

Bottom Bay: Southeast Coast - St. Philip
Medium to large waves, with more large waves. STRONG CURRENTS!

Cotton House Bay: South Coast - Christ Church
Small to medium waves with lots of undertow. Great for surfing!

Cove Bay: North Coast - St. Lucy

Shark's Hole Bay: South-East Coast - St. Philip
Fairly calm waters close to shore, medium to large waves, lots of undertow and strong currents.
