Kentucky Beach, a stunning bay with minor breaks of rock and artificial reefs.
Sea conditions close to shore are usually fairly calm with clear waters, some undertow, and the occasional rolling wave. Further out to sea has rougher conditions with medium waves and stronger undercurrents. The waters here also has a rocky bottom in certain areas.
Kentucky Beach features the beautifully landscaped South Coast Boardwalk along the shoreline, and fronts the popular KFC Fast Food restaurant, as well as a couple of other restaurants and vacation accommodations.
Kentucky Beach can be found on the Caribbean side of the island, on the
South Coast of Barbados in the parish of Christ Church.
