t the most southern end of Barbados you will find the stunning
South Point Beach, a favourite surfing spot with surfers on the island.
South Point Beach experiences small to medium rolling waves and choppy waters, with some undercurrent.
The beach here has a tiny rocky shore lined with coconut trees and lots of driftwood.
The water is also rocky with a coral reef and is known to have the odd sea turtle sighting.
Located just downhill from the
South Point Lighthouse, this beach offers the perfect opportunity with its picturesque scenery and beautiful ocean.
South Point Beach can be found on the
South Coast of Barbados in the parish of Christ Church.
NOTE:
This beach is located in a residential area with the entrance to the beach situated between expensive homes, so be mindful of your behaviour and where you park.
CAUTION
Rocks and reef has very sharp edges
Look out for sea urchins and poisonous lion fish
