Brandons Beach

Brandons Beach The popular BRANDON'S BEACH in Barbados has an expansive stretch of white sandy beach with sections of lovely trees offering areas of shade for picnicking, or for those who prefer not to be in the sun all day.

Brandons Beach is fairly calm most of the year, with clear waters and very little undertow which makes it wonderful for swimming and snorkelling, but watch out for sea urchins in some areas.

Located here are Public Facilities with showers, beach umbrella & chair rentals, a Lifeguard, a Restaurant & Bar, as well as picnic benches & tables and a parking area.

Because of its close proximity to the Bridgetown Cruise Terminal which is located south-west of the beach, Brandons has become very popular with Cruise Ship passengers. It is also a great spot for Sunset photos, and is one of the few openings to the sea left on the west coast of the island, where you can view the seaside from a major Highway.

This beach is also beachfront to a number of Crop Over Festival events such as 'Pan Pun De Sand', 'Bridgetown Market', the 'Foreday Morning Jam (Jouvert)' and 'Grand Kadooment' climax (Carnival Day) on the Spring Garden Highway.

Brandon’s Beach can be found on the Caribbean Sea side of the island, on the South-west Coast of Barbados in the Parish of St Michael.
