hen visiting the deserted
Ginger Bay Beach in Barbados you will be dazzled by the magnificent beauty of this bay.
At this cove, close to shore has small to medium waves with lots of undertow, while out to sea has more intense sea conditions with bigger waves and strong under-currents.
Ginger bay is the perfect little hideaway, ideally cut into the Atlantic’s rugged coastline, while offering the most romantic setting with its white/pinkish sandy beach, aquamarine crystal clear waters and backdrop of wavering coconut trees.
The beach here is surrounded by cliffs and fronts holiday accommodations on the cliff top in the background. It was also once home to the exclusive oceanfront Ginger Bay Beach Club.
Ginger Bay Beach can be found on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island, on the
Southeast Coast of Barbados in the parish of St Philip.
CAUTION! Not well-suited for swimming (some sea-bathing close to shore)
