Palm Beach in Barbados, with its tranquil crystal clear waters and soft white sand is the envy of the south coast.
What makes Palm Beach special is its artificial reef, which was specifically built to protect the shoreline here, and form a safe swimming area.
However beyond the reef, sea conditions become a bit choppy with medium waves and some undertow.
This beach is situated in the
Garrison Historic area and fronts the
Amaryllis Hotel Beach Resort and
The Condominiums at Palm Beach. It also has a number of trees and palms along the shoreline, giving it that tropical feel.
