Bottom Bay Beach in Barbados is a wide beach with white/pinkish sand, crystalline waters, medium to large rolling waves, some undertow, and is a nice picnicking spot.
Bottom Bay is yet another beautiful secluded beach, and one of the more stunning on this coast, positioned between cliffs while featuring a back-drop of swaying coconut palm trees and a hidden cave, ...giving it a true Robinson Crusoe feel.
Located just north-east of the famed Sam Lord's Castle, this isolated beach boasts one of the most spectacular settings with a panoramic cliff-top view, making it excellent for photos.
This picturesque spot is also featured on many local souvenir postcards, as well as in the Barbados Tourism commercial for the US market featuring international artiste Rihanna.
Bottom Bay Beach can be found on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island, on the
Southeast Coast of Barbados in the Parish of St Philip.
NO swimming recommended due to strong currents (some swimming close to sure by strong skilled swimmers)
