Dover Beach in Barbados is situated in the lively
St Lawrence Gap, and is one of the more popular beaches on the south coast.
This beautiful beach has fairly calm sea conditions most of the year, with small to medium waves and some undercurrent.
At Dover Beach there is lots of shore for relaxing and tanning, with a number of trees dotting the shoreline.
Because it is located amongst many accommodations and restaurants, this beach offers quite a few watersports activities and beach rentals to service the tourist staying in the area.
On the beachfront of Dover beach there is a small boardwalk, and a beautifully designed promenade with a food court, bars, beach facilities and a play park.
Just opposite the beach is a playing field where you can enjoy an occasional game of cricket, soccer or basketball.
Dover Beach can be found on the Caribbean side of the island, on the
South Coast of Barbados in the parish of Christ Church.

(liquid from tree may cause BLISTERING) (The tree has green shiny leaves - The fruit is small apple–shaped – The tree is marked by red bands) - Where there is wateresports activities persons should be cautious when entering outside the area marked with orange coloured buoys
