Rainbow Beach in Barbados is also known as
White Sands Beach, and is one of the south coast beaches located in the lively
St Lawrence Gap and Dover area.
The sea condition here is choppy most of the year with small to medium rolling waves and some undercurrent.
At Rainbow Beach the shoreline is dotted with coconut palms, while fronting beachfront holiday accommodations like
Ocean Two Hotel Resort & Residences,
Four Aces & Salt Ash Beach Apartments and
White Sands Beach (WSB) Villas/Condominiums.
On the beachfront there is also a beach bar and beach operators providing watersports activities, beach rentals and surfing lessons.
This shore is home to quite a few turtle nestings, so if you should see any eggs or hatchlings, please do not damage or hurt them. (
